Three days after I helped drive 40 horses 60 miles through the rugged Eastern Arizona mountains the Wallow Fire broke out. It raced through the countryside we had just travelled consuming everything in its wake. and became the largest wild fire in Arizona's history. Where we had just been riding was now charred. But miraculously the Sprucedale Ranch was spared.

Horse Drive
Will Moffitt, Russell Moffitt, Sarah Myhre, Jennifer Santini and Tammy Matthews drove horses 60 miles from the winter range to their summer jobs at the Sprucedale Guest Ranch high up in the mountains of Eastern Arizona.
